Leaving my Z behind.....

Post by Skiwi » Wed Feb 23, 2022 7:54 pm

So, I've picked up a 12 month work contracted that comes with a house and company ute, sounds great right? But....its 230km away from my main home and down about 10km of gravel road :(

Given I never have and never will take my Z off tar-seal, it looks like my driving will be limited to every second weekend when I head home.
I'm getting withdrawal symptoms already and the job hasn't even started!
When you drive a "Z" the destination is moot

I always struggle with this sentiment. I buy cars to drive them, and driving them causes the mileage to go up surprisingly not effecting the value of the car by much. Oh and don't start on fuel prices. I've got a 300hp Rx7. I just swipe my card and don't look at the Bill.
