280zx half shaft swap problem

I am attempting to swap std na half shafts for the CV type in a 5 stud conversion. Is there some difference in R200 diffs turbo vs na? I cannot get the cv shafts all the way in.

problem solved. it was just the clip in the diff which i did not know was there. I am used to seeing them on the splined stub.

Yeh, the old clip in the diff trick.
The R200 manual says you should change them each time you remove the stub axles, but not sure why.
I just re-inserted my new stub axles and the clips popped back into place.
