Would have thought you'd be into the orange. :P I didn't realise the Nismo came in the orange, learned a Z fact today.
I could be wrong, but I understand the Orange was only a Japanese Nismo colour, and not available for the Nismo 350Z in the US. :)

Today I managed to fit the rear wiper assembly.
I took the arm and motor from the 2nd hand hatch I brought.
I had to repaint that wiper arm to make it look pretty with Matt Black from Duplicolour.
The finish was closer to satin, so perfect.

The new wiper blade assembly was from WiperTech in Aussie. New is nice!

While the plastic was off, i decided to give the inside of the hatch a good clean.
Anyway happy with the result, and now have a working rear wiper.

I used a new rubber seal from Concept Z.

Certainly like the orange on the 260 but I do think in the pics that the 350 look really nice in red.

A new cosmetic change... managed to score a 380RS steering wheel.
:)
Will swap it over tomorrow with luck.

All fitted up!
Had a little training from a youtube video, as once you have done it its easy, but for the first time it seemed like a long path to follow...
Will keep the original wheel safe and sound for the future.

A few little changes since the last post.
New slotted brake rotors all round and new pads, and new fluid.

New rear diff bushes all round. Apparently the OEM center bush was a mission to get out. (I got some pro's to do it!).
The diff got a make over whilst it was out, as well as new diff oil.

The rear also got new Nissan OEM hubs and wheel bearings.
Drives like new!

The Number plate was also changed to the correct shape JDM plate, though they still have not got the holes in the correct place, so had to drill new ones.

Really nice Grant. I personally the 350's will become collectible in time. but that is still 10 years away.

I had to replace my radiator, so got a Koyorad unit.
[Japanese brand, but made in Indonesia]
Visually its very nice and fits like a glove. All factor mounting points were spot on.
The AC condenser and fans were easier to install than they were to remove from the original unit.
My original unit lasted 167,000 km.
It's the 36mm version, looks twice the size of the OEM unit.
Part Number: KV022140R (V2999), replaces OEM: # 21410EV00A for the VQ35HR only.
The little cooler is new and for the transmission.

Do you still have the centre console/cubby bits? I'm thinking seriously about replacing the Japanese satnav screen in mine for something vaguely useful, so I may be interested in buying it from you if you still have it. I've no idea what they're worth though.

I just PM'd you.
I will be keeping it now as will keep the car, but gave you some options. :)

Just when I didn't have enough to do on the 280zx, thought a few more jobs is necessary.
Fitted the Works Bell (Japan) Z33 Column Shifter (paddle shifter) for a bit of fun.
Took it for a short test drive and it works a treat. It only works when you are in manual (tip-tronic) mode.
They attach to the column like the 370Z so don't turn with the wheel, this is so the original steering wheel with airbag can be retained.

Also got a stainless Y pipe and some HFC's which i'll try and fit this afternoon.

Didn't get very far with the exhaust, as the original one is a bit rusted so could not get the flange undone at the headers.
Will wait a week or so and get it on a hoist in case the grinder needs to make an appearance.

I will also fit a new 3.5 ratio VLSD to give it a little more buzz over the stock 3.3 VLSD.
