Hi everyone. My son is looking to buy an older classic car. I have found the one below listed on trademe and wonder if anybody knows the history of this car. .

It's possible it's Ol' Yellow's car, but hard to tell with the new plate on it, and at least 5-6 or more years since I've seen his car. Think he came along to one of the visits to Classics in Hamilton.

I took this one for a test drive, had a slight knock from the engine on a cold start up and the wheels need pumping up and balancing. i offered him 11k but he said no

After he backed it into a pole and damaged the bumper he came down to 11.

The main thing i didnt like was the colour, reminds me of a Volvo.

It did pull well from 80 to 120 though(this was done on a private road  )

Quite a rare colour though and can look really good if it's well detailed.

It is still yellow Bronzee. :)

Was a yellow ZX like that around Tauranga for years, not sure if same one. Looks tidy for its age. Dont know why they painted the front engine covers blue. But good to know they did the timing belt and hopefully the did all the cambelt idlers too.

Gregs old car

I did some work for someone who had the car two or three years ago, not sure if that's still the current owner.
