Ricky crowned the ERC Arrow Wheels Champion for 2016/2017

Forum and club member Ricky has taken out the top honours in the ERC Arrow Wheels series for the 2016/2017 season awarded last night at the annual ERC Awards Dinner. Ricky has been one of the most consistent performers in the series for some years and has finally been rewarded for his efforts.
The S30 cars that run in this predominantly European competition are often outgunned by cars with far superior power to weight ratios (Capri V8's and Cosworth engined Escorts) but show an outstanding ability with both cornering and grip that many of the other live axle cars can't reproduce. The award is a true credit to both Rickys smooth driving style, his on track behaviour and his car development skills. It also signals a true acceptance of the 240Z as a genuine race classic by a series that was originally just for classic BMC engined cars.
I know all club members would want to congratulate Ricky on his performance and wish him well for the new 2017/2018 race season.
