Thanks for the info guys, will keep researching.
May order the Pertronix one from the z store and see how that goes, seems to be the easiest. I already have the flamethrower coil so should be trouble free (hopefully)

I'm in front of the car in that photo, the guy putting sunscreen on by the boot is my mate Henry, that was at caffeine and classics over summer from memory.
