ZClub - Trial - Sunday 18th October 2015

Post by Z Club » Thu Sep 17, 2015 11:23 am

What: Z Club Trial
When: Sunday 18th October 2015
Time: 9.30am sharp - departure
Start point: BP Drury Quickstop - meet out the front of the McDonalds!!!! (the big BP on the left of the motorway as you head out of town).
What to bring: a full tank of petrol, money for lunch, a gold coin donation for our club charity St John, a navigator, friends & family.
Organiser: Bronzee

It's been a while since our last trial, so come along and test out your trialling skills, or if it's your first time, it's a lot of fun and always fantastic roads!!!

We finish at BP Quickstop Bombay, Autobahn Cafe for lunch.

If you spot a lost looking Mini Club car, please wave out, as we've invited them along to this event.

Please register, so we know how many trial instruction sheets to print.

I'll probably be in NZ for October or most of it. Looking fwd to an average speed greater than 27km/h.
And driving something with less than a foot of ground clearance. (actually I have a driver so driving is going to be an new experience)

As a few of our more new members have inquired, what a trial/rally is, here you go:

A trial involves, you your car, and a co-pilot, then you're given street instructions and clues to find along the way. To keep both the pilot and co-pilot amused. Always good roads and then finishing for a meal and to laugh at ourselves and compare the answers, good fun. :)

May have to postpone this event, I can't drive, got a broken ankle, so stuffs things up, as makes it difficult to get there and organise. Unless others are coming.

Anyone else potentially interested in this event?

Hi Logan, would have loved for it to be still go. But I'm not mobile to get there, can't drive with my broken casted ankle. So looks like will have to cancel. Such a pity. Something to try again in the new year.

Will post up the Xmas gathering idea.

Such a pity. It's been ages since we've seen you. Safe flight back. You're not here still for the Prize Giving or the Dyno Day are you, or gone back?

Enjoy the roadtrip. 8) Hopefully we'll have an event that will coincide with you being back next year. Keep in contact, flick me a pm, we'll see what we can organise.
