I've already made the mistake of paying for 6 months about 2 months ago and forgot that I should have only paid until July... now I need to know how to get a rebate if it's possible for my 350Z.
Just got my rego on a 1991 car.
Lady was nice enough to let me pay for 5 days and then get 6 months as of July 1st cost $135 so about 125 for 6 months. Probably save like $20 I think seem to remember 6 months costing 147 or so?
She explained it to me as the newer your car was and the more safety features mainly abs, airbags etc the more of a reduction you get.
I asked about the rego for the 240z and she said she thought rego might actually go up for them? Again not 100% sure just going off what she sad

Put you Rego plate into this site and it will tell you exactly what you will be paying.
From what I can tell searching cars that I own none have gone up only modern cars have gone down and I think there is still Classic Rego for cars older than 40 years

Not rated - no information available. for my 2007 350z.
Vehicle licensing fee $238.45 / year
is there a way to get the information updated?
Also used that link given above. Says my 2004 model 350Z is also at $238.45 a year... is that updated? Seems like it's the same old same to me.
i would assume so. possibly site is outdated. what year is yours Buster?
It entered NZ in 2008 and I bought it new at the start of 2009 (first owner). Didn't like the look of the 370z which was due in NZ (still wouldn't buy one actually - each to their own).
My wife has a 2007 V36 Skyline and they want $241.54, but this is a model they referred to on TV recently which I think is to be adjusted down.
Edit
The V36 Skyline has been changed to ACC Levy - Band 4 (Total $134.95 for 12 months). The wife will be pleased.

That can't be the case. My Z31 and Z33 cost exactly the same on the new scheme: $238.45Karljsw wrote: She explained it to me as the newer your car was and the more safety features mainly abs, airbags etc the more of a reduction you get.
Z31 has no ABS, no airbags, no traction control. Probably worse crumple zones.
I'm sure there's something deciding it that they don't want to tell us.
