Where: Solijans - Cafe, 366 State Highway, Kumeu http://www.soljans.co.nz

Meet at the Solijans carpark at 10am for brunch, then a gentle cruise afterwards probably to one of the nearby beaches, weather depending.

A very nice venue - I'll try to be there for this one...
Im always keen for a cruise - anywhere,
A nearby beach may prove elusive in Kumeu territory though.

I should be able to make it. Driving after lunch may be a problem

Good plan - will probably be able to make it but will be sans Z.

There is a nice loop in the hills behind riverhead that brings you out at Helensville if you want to go for twisty drive on quiet roads. Road to Murawai is nice but busy.

Cheers

There are also some nice roads if you go along State Highway 16 a bit further, then head inland, quiet windy roads, connect back to Warkworth. Oh, so many options.

Don't want to be a killjoy but according to Soljans Websight they are at 366 not 336, don't how much of a difference it makes, but does for us out east, we get lost in that side of town. Place looks cool.

Massive turnout for brunch, 22 people, even given the V8's Absolutely fabulous food and service. Time for the mandatory Zed photos , then a group of us headed across country using awesome driving roads to Warkworth for more moody photos under the trees. Never enough Zed photos!! Then just 3 Zeds headed onto Goat Island, as we didn't have the chance after the Sheep World cruise. Stunning weather, lots of fish, but not allowed to catch them, being a marine reserve.

Awesome day and great to see everyone. :D

ps. Will post photos tomorrow when I have time.
