which engine oil to use

Hi everyone, sorry if this question has already been asked, but which engine oil do you guys normally use. Seems like Penrite 5w40 seems to be the one commonly used for regular servicing. But if im taking it out on the track one a week or so, which oil do you think is the best. For the filter I use HKS from Red line performance.

5w 30 is what Nissan recommends as per the owners manual and I've used in mine since brand new, 11 years + later without any problems. Use something decent like Castrol Edge or Mobil 1, are the more commonly utilised.
