Details required for a show.

Neville would like some statistics on the number of 240zs that were sent or imported into NZ in 1973 by the nissan or datsun importers...not including pvte or second hand imports we are doing some advertising material for a car display in Hastings this weekend.

The display that the information is required for is this sunday is being organised by the British & classic club of Hawkes Bay with a theme of old dealerships and the cars that they sold,my unrestored 240z will represent the firm of ROSS DYSART & McLEAN who imported datsuns direct from Japan under their own import liscence..Max Rae were the main Datsun retailer but they only sold the NZ built product ...eventually they were absorbed into Ross Dysart & co before they closed at a later date.....IN 1973 one could privately import cars if you held a liscence or overseas funds, .......Neville was only asked the question yesterday re numbers of imports and I realise there are a lot of used Z cars have been imported since those days.
