Hello there Z-Club! I bring with me arguably the best 350Z in the country! (debate inspiring i know;). I discovered this beasty on a Japanese auction site, and it is currently in transit. The gentleman I purchased the car from, must have had an open Cheque book, a passion for Zed cars, and been partial to the tuning shop Central 20. This example is a 2006 Track spec model which has had an estimated $50k spent on goodies! I have included a few pics, but look forward to uploading more when it arrives for all the enthusiasts out there. What y'all think of it? Any other highly modified Z33's on here?

Will it pass emissions with the mods?? I know I couldn't import a 350z a couple of years ago before I bought mine because it had an aftermarket exhaust and they wouldn't allow it on the roads, but I'm assuming you have already checked with nzta etc?
35th Anniversary Grey 350z - Motordyne TDX2 Shockwave exhaust , JWT popcharger, MREV2 plenum , 5/16 plenum spacer , MD ART pipes, UR Crank pulley, CE28 volk racing wheels
just did a quick google search. that twin turbo set up looks nice. hope it gets here in time enough for you to be able to go on the taupo track day.
Thanks heaps for the warm welcome, and I look forward to having a look at fellow club members cars at events in the future!. Yes these two weeks are going to be filled with researching all the goodies etc and finding a reputable tuner to set it up for 98 fuel and 10psi here in Auckland.
-I think you may have been ill advised as to not being able to comply a vehicle with an aftermarket exhaust btw mate. Our emission standards are far less stringent then those in Japan....but it does have aftermarket racing cats to be sure to be sure ......of which i intend to throw straight in the bin.

Ohh you are mate. If that were the case, there would be no modified imports ex-japan! : Of course I will be needing a low volume cert, not only for compliance but for peace of mind. The Turbo kit should give 400bhp with standard exhaust 7psi etc. This has had a Greddy fuel system,Oil cooler 10psi and a Zsport exhaust system additional to the kit so am hoping for between 430 and 500bhp, but that is guesswork for another two weeks. The internals will be uncovered then also .Gunmetal Z wrote:Oh well lets hope I'm wrong otherwise ill be the first to say I told you so btw how many hp at the wheels? Built engine?
Nice man, had a 350Z-TT Greddy kit at 8lbs made just over 400whp with matching torque you'll love it. APS kit is great also. You will find the earlier VQ35 motor tend to consume some oil. And 450BHP is doable with the stock internals, wouldn't push it much more though. The new style (dual TB) HR engines are better for higher HP/cooling but essentially the same block
Can I make a comment here. If it's boosted that's one thing, if they're stock it's actually the late 2005-2006 and some 2007 that some are oil burners. (Just in case any of the newbies reading freak out).350GT wrote:You will find the earlier VQ35 motor tend to consume some oil.

Hah yes thank you Bronzee, lol those are the older ones for me 03's had some issues with consuming oil too but some 07's tended to find that the VVT paper gasket seal blows out causing a loss in oil pressure yada yada.... my VQ35VHR runs great no issues :cross fingers:BRONZEE wrote:Can I make a comment here.
