i have two gear boxes one from a l20e r30 skyline (dog leg box) and one from rear bowl l20e from a import 280zx just wondering which one to use for the new project z31 im getting.
will be putting the spare l20et in it and have the two choices of gear box to use any thoughts ?
which one would be stronger?

I am also quite interested in this topic too. I assume i have the 280zx gearbox that came with my L20et rather than the skyline one. What differences do you know about the two?
Someone had to make up for all the pollutants these hybrid cars are saving these days, so i cranked up the fuel pressure and let the engine roar.

If both 71b boxes they will be the same strength.

However I think the r30 dogleg will be a 63 box so not as strong would need to see pics of both to let you.
