Just booked the Z in for a new set of tyres on Saturday, so will have them in time for the cruise/event (and the car's warrant of fitness!). The factory Bridgestone Potenzas have managed 28,000km - they've been pretty good for the 21k I've done on them and they have worn evenly, but looking forward to the Michelin Pilot Sport 3 tyres that are about to be fitted! :-)

Didn't know 98 could be had over that way. Good to know for next time.

Hey all. Look forward to meeting you all and having a good run.
edit- just read the donations to St Johns.
Have always supported St Johns. I try to go to all the Bike Rallys in the South Island with St Johns as the Charity.
Went to Little River on Anzac day to support them. Estimated between 250-300 bikes took part. Was Brilliant.
I ride a 1997 Honda Vtr 1000 but thats being put away while in enjoy my new Z.

This really is going to be quite some event!!! A huge thanks go to Kirihi and Netrover and the rest of you guys down there, for all the effort you're putting to attend meets. The bigger the meets get, and the more financial members that join, then we can start to get some seriously cool events happening. Might even get North Islanders to head down.  8)

Crikey! I'm sure that we've got at least half of Christchurch's 350Z population coming along. Awesome!

Looks like we shouldn't have a problem making a track day some time in the near future

Bring on increase in financial members. 8) Costs to cover the cost of track hire, ambulance and MSNZ Levies and other incidentals. Not cheap events to run.

Would love to come along and chat/gander but I'm booked on a customer 10/10/10 ($10 dollar push bike / 10 pubs / 10 pints - central CHCH CBD pub crawl on Saturday so not a chance of two days away. Next summer for me and financial once again.

Currently up in Nelson on business and past the leader road turn off just north of Cheviot. Great road that....enjoy! Can't wait to get out of the 2.2TDi Mitsi and into triple Mukuni'd L24 HS30. Hopefully only one long winter to go.

Are there even 10 pubs left in the CBD these days? Could be a long ride between drinks!
