Hi all,

Andy, I will have to pull out my registration for the track. Me car failed its last WOF and I haven't been able to get the required bits together to be able to have a new sticker slapped on in time. I now will only be up there as a spectator.

The timing couldn't have been worse, but at least I'll still get to meet up with some of the group who I've yet to put a face to the forum name.

Cheers,
Nigel aka asyado

Hi there Andy,

yeah I'll be up for marshaling for the day. At least that way I can say that I'm on the track and get as close to the action, lol.

I have deposited money into the club account for my lunch.

Catcha's all on Friday!!!

Cheers,
Nigel aka asyado.

Braided clutch line fitted (Manfield track day polished off my rubber one) and DOT 5.1 Fluids all done and ready to go! Car jam packed with two track wheels and tyres and gear for the weekend! Off to Taupo early for a 4 day Ssangyong course so it was great timing, see you all Saturday!

Nigel,

We are aiming to leave Paraparaumu at about 8.00 to 8.30 but will be trailering the Z so will be a bit slow to travel with. I know Strydah (Steve and Wendy) are planning to be about the same time. See you on the road maybe.

Hi all
I am keen to give my substitute ZED car (BMW tow wagon) a few cool down periods, by hopefully getting a couple of hot laps in any of the race car passenger seats, by giving some money away to the Z club charity - if there is a collection at this event?
If anyone is has a caged car and happy to let me get a feel of a track car (sold my 260z and thinking about getting into motorsport) from the passenger seat of course! Please let me know and I will find you on Saturday.

Keen to ride in as many types of cars as possible, and if anyone is interested and would have me - would $20 per ride to St Johns or other nominated charity be fair?

Cheers A.J

With rides in the caged cars, as mentioned before, cotton overalls, helmet, and closed in shoes. Also, and very importantly you have to sign a waiver form for each racecar you go for a ride in. 8) 8)
