Advice on the best adhesive for Rubber Window Seals
Hi All
Just about to replace my hatch rubbers and rear light seals and was wondering what the best stuff to stick them on with is? Also does anyone know of an easy way to remove all of the sticky muck left behind on my windscreen from the old rego holder?
Thanks Heaps
Mike

Rainex Black, and bonus is you can do the whole inside of the screen to keep the glass clear and improves the clarity of the glass the same as the Yellow does for the exterior glass. Black removes any rego sticker or any other gunk for that matter. Really important to follow the instructions.mike260z wrote: Also does anyone know of an easy way to remove all of the sticky muck left behind on my windscreen from the old rego holder?

Sikaflex 291 in small quantities works well, if you wish to remove the rubbers in one peice ever dont use too much, i.e. Use small dabs at intervals. If you're after permanent, never fall off rubber connection, Sikaflex 291 is better and easier to use than the messy contact adhesives that are traditional on older vehicles.HasMilk wrote:for all other seals I'll be using some sikaflex
