Don't forget this event if you are in the lower North Island, the last two have been great with a huge turnout.

That's a shame Murray, and we were so looking forward to seeing your car!!!!!!!!
I won't be there this year - am driving up to Taumarunui to collect the mighty Austin from the outlaws house and trailer it back to Welly.
Where I believe it may have started life back in the 1950's when they assembled Austins in Petone.
Full circle after 57 years, not bad.

That's a shame Michael but good news to have the next project at home. I've had an A30 and an A35 many years ago, good strong little cars. Good luck with the relocation.

Won't be turning up for this one. Having some major rust removal over the next couple months. Will be good to go after that though.
Someone had to make up for all the pollutants these hybrid cars are saving these days, so i cranked up the fuel pressure and let the engine roar.

Would love to come again. My wife refuses to do long trip like that in the Z again. We had some problems with charging on the way back, turned out all I had was a loose fan belt. When I installed the power steering and instead of setting up independent pulleys I just used the water pump one. This was all good until the belt stretched a little and the bracket ran out of adjustment. Have since had an extension made for the bracket, heaps of adjustment now. All sorted, but wife still not keen to do long trips. Must look into changing it for the future.

I can understand your wife's comments Bernie, I'm not sure I would get mine to spend more than an hour at a time in my car!
Love to see any of you down here for this event next year, it is well worth the trip.
