Hi guys, just trying to find out as much information on the 240 headlights as I can before making any desissions.
The high beam one the from left light isn't working and that i would have to replace the whole headlight??
All I know is that I have to jack up the car take the wheel off at get to the 4x m5 bolts holding in the headlight? What upgrade options do I have for the headlights? Would like to have some sort of halogen headlights compared to the stock headlights.

Halogen inserts will fit right in there, but because of the greater current draw of halogens you should fit relays as well, otherwise the headlight switch or wiring will eventually fry itself.
The worst part of the whole excercise, is removing the small bolts at the back of the lights, under the wheel arch.
Below is an excellent product fitted in 20 minutes or less. No cutting wires, soldering or drilling. Well worth the money, and comes with all the instructions.

Dave Irwin is the guy who makes the above relay kit. Highly recomended top product.

I didn't change mine and think they may still be original specs. The relays made enough of a difference to make it good enough for the minimal distances I drive in the dark. Before the relays it was like driving with candles! Mind you, some dash lights would be nice one day.
