What aftermarket exhausts are around..?

Post by bugjuice » Fri Sep 27, 2013 1:58 pm

I had a quick search but couldn't find anything relevant (before I get flamed! :P )
Not any time real soon, but early next year, I want to upgrade the ol' pipes, but I want a good tune. So, just wondering who's got what, and how it sounds. I prefer the deeper notes, rather than the tinny boi-racer sounds..

Fujitsubo on mine - from the headers back (cats removed). Sounds good, not tinny, and not too expensive. Looks nice too :-) See the following link for a photo.

The Nismo exhaust has a gorgeous smooth, deep sound. Borla is also very nice in my opinion on a 350. Not common in NZ though.

On http://my350z.com, there is a thread about it, sorry don't have time to hunt for the thread right now. 8)

See above link for the Fujitsubo, if interested.

The guys at STM reckon they get really good results from the X-Force system. X-Force is on the cheaper side, but readily available in NZ and straight replacement.

I would recommend the nismo and the fujitsubo as well. I have the nismo exhaust and it sounds great -
more of a sporty exhaust and it isn't extremely loud. My friend has a fujitsubo (not sure which type, seems like
oem style) and it sounds great too :)

Just put the Stillen cat back true dual on mine a couple of weeks ago and am very satisfied with it. Sounds great, looks good and after a dyno tune the car should be even better!
