Moving a ZX with no front end

Post by ZYX » Sat Sep 14, 2013 5:35 pm

I need to tow or truck my parts ZX. It has rear wheels only at the moment, and I need to be able to roll it onto a truck. Ideas? I'd thought of a trailer axle, or similar, but has anyone got a better idea?
My restoration will be finished in time for the next meet. Really. No, REALLY. Maybe......

Do you have a spare front cross member? Can that be bolted into the car/shell? We have done that in the past with a large caster wheel bolted to the cross member this with the rear of the car rolling means you can get it into a trailer or truck.

Cheers
Mike

Or some Gojacks you can borrow, use with a wooden beam where the crossmember goes. I have a good wooden beam here too. Could deliver during the week if that helps.
