Short replacement antenna aerial

Post by mal.d » Wed Sep 11, 2013 8:21 pm

Hi all,
After bring my pride and joy home I of course put in the garage with a cover on it. However the aerial ended up being a pain. Does anyone have suggestions re a shorter replacement. I have read in other forums about the Honda s2000 and a wide variety of ebay versions but the one that looks the best is the 08 Dodge Avenger antenna. Does anyone know where I can get one of these. I have done quite a lot of research on the internet withlittle success. Cheers

Honda Stubby aerial is the common replacement overseas. You can buy a 350z specific cover that has allowance for the aerial, from Nissan or I think one of the group buy companies has them too.

I just unscrew the aerial each time I cover the car.

Anything shorter will be a compromise to reception. Unscrewing it sounds easy enough and your money will be saved.

Thanks for the replies. Nice cover Taryon made me smile. It also struck me last night when I was looking for shorter aerials that I could alway just unscrew the thing, dah! Cheers.

Hey Mal

I ordered this one from ConceptZ. Screws in easy and looks sweet. Reception seems ok as well.
