I acquired this car in late December of this year, all the hard work was done completely legal for the motor and gearbox work it was ready to be driven.
the major downfall, it was a total train-wreck, the interior is almost non existent having no carpet, most trimming pieces gone there was pretty much just 4 seats, a dash and a steering wheel the bare minimal really.
The engine bay was full of rust and had untidy wires and hoses for miles, the clutch was tired and slipping like a trooper.
The exterior is in pretty good condition, been resprayed in a glossy Toyota purple the only downfall is the wheels, I don't like the look of them and they're only 215's
I think I will be needing at least 265's or more if I can fit them.I started with the engine bay simply so I could have some fun in it right away, with the clutch slipping as bad as it was I think it was only natural.
Heres a few photos of the engine bay before I started, the only thing I had done was alloy 3 core radiator- unfortunately I have no pics of the bay before i done the radiator.

While I was waiting for the engine crane I thought I'd begin on the sanding:
Finally the crane arrived, sadly I can't find any good photos of us actually getting it out but heres a few of after-would

Time for that new clutch, got a exedy 6puk single plate clutch, I had my flywheel machined and lightened and a much newer pressure plate and throw-out bearing:

After all that effort being spent on the motor it was time to finish up on the bay so I could put the darn thing back in and DRIVE!
After a good clean with grease and wax remover and about 8 coats of etch primer:

I ended up painting the bay in satin black simply cause the color is universal, it doesn't shine to much and it doesn't look bogan like matte. heres the bay painted:
Finally it was time to put the motor back in about 6 weeks later:
The fruits of my efforts, paid off =)
