Hello just to say that my Z is a tt (Xavier martin). As Mike said after the prize giving, somehow I've lost my turbos on the track...

You lost them before the track, pretty sure it was at registration :-) Hopefully the NA / Forced Induction box will return in next years registration and we'll break the turbo cars into two groups if there's as many as there were this time. Sorry it was hard to work out who had blowers before arriving at the track unless folks had specified in the model name. Hence the turbo group was unexpectedly large. I did have a quick check but someone had to be missed.

Not complaining at all... :-) And as said technically my car was a NA as the bov was always open for the 2 third of the day... Hehehe

A big thanks to all those involved with making a great day out.

The flow was excellent. Bernie on the blower and Kelvin on the flags had us on the track more than we could handle.

Cheers guys.

Yes it was really well run. Just sorry I had to leave early.
A big thank you to those of you that made it happen.

Id like to thank the people who provided me with a works drive. Its always good to drive other cars and have others drive yours. It helps all involved get a better perspective on how various setups work. Again thanks guys it was appreciated.

A couple of vids from inside. Nothing too exciting, but at least I didn't fall off the track in these ones.

Yes, good lap time, seventh overall, first uncaged Z?

Hard to work out categories so there are even numbers in all categories, when we get some vehicles entering without sufficient description. We didn't realise there would be so many blown Z32's.

All creative and constructive comments welcome, were you not in a Force Fed Z?

We also welcome input to the Trackday during organisational stages from any member.

Just to start the constructive comments, we should maybe run Caged Z's (both blown and NA), Uncaged Blown Z's, amalgamate S30 with S130, Z31 with Z32, Z33 with Z34 then two or three capacity groups for non Z cars.
This could change to ensure no overcrowded group like the Force Fed Zed group was this time.

Yes 300zx Z32 tt as per registration !
As the very last driver acknowledged
Behind all non Zeds on the 25th year
With one of the qucker times doesn't
Feel great.
Having had the same problem in 2012
As xavier seems where not getting there.
I would gladly help clear this up for next
Time & also place agreed prizes pre Avent.

In all honesty I didn't even know there would be prize giving... And didn't know what forced fed z meant (supercharged or just normal turbos or ???).
I thought my tt stock was the only tt stock in the event, otherwise I would have point this out at the event (well I did say my car is a TT when I got the "certificate")

Keen to give certificate and prize to whoever merits it.

Anyways, for my first track day EVER that was awesome. Got my car fixed in one minute by Chad, got advices from Mike, got an overall for the event from Imogene, ... and felt in a safe environment the whole day.
Thanks again :)

Thanks Yes, you were one of the only ones listing as turbo, there should have been a turbo option on the form

Yes order was comprehensively screwed up in the last minute rush, its a real squeeze getting the certs done at the end particularly with folk coming in and breaking the flow, the upstairs at the clubroom is just a dusty dungeon and not appropriate for admin tasks.

We had placed prizes pre event, then a whole pile more turn up on the day so the list went out the window, I kinda like the idea of folk selecting a prize they actually want within reason, but certainly a place to improve.

Wish someone had pointed that out pre event, quite important really.

Offer accepted, see you at the committee meetings, even if its just the three meetings before the event, some of us go down for beersies in Newmarket after and tell lies about our cars.

Thanks for that Andy .
I believe two tts listed on registration.
I just can't see anyone listing S30 as caged
Or not yet they are in two separate classes
Is it me ?
I would be keen to help re reg form for
Next & maybe we could simply add all the classes
To the form online perhaps.
Also let's fix the form/ spectator (13.00) including lunch.
It looks like you have to pay to watch.
And keep the bank account details on reg from .
Any hoo thanks for your feed back. Kev.
