Time: 9:20am at the latest (earlier the better for good spot - to avoid traffic jam)
Where: Please note, the start points will be different this year, not from Ellerslie as in the past.
End for all run groups: Vellenoweth Green in St Heliers, Auckland

Things to bring Saturday: lunch & refreshments (no cafe on site), gold coins for donation, clipboard, pen and navigator/friends/family.

Saturday 9th Feb morning: the MG Car Club organised Fun Run. This year the concept is different – no longer departing from Ellerslie race course but from a variety of destinations around Auckland…driving to a convivial location to be announced shortly on the Concours new website.

PLEASE NOTE THESE ARE THE 2013 RUNS.
Runs will depart from:
1. West - Westgate Shopping Centre - Massey / Taupaki / Kumeu / Riverhead / Waikoukou Valley / Waimauku / Pt Chevalier/Ponsonby /Viaduct Basin / Remuera / St Heliers. Run time approx 2 hours.
2. Northcote - Poenamo Hotel Car Park - Northcote Rd Hillcrest / Albany / Coatesville / Orewa / Red Beach / Silverdale / City / St Heliers. Run time approx 2 hours.
3. Greenlane - Ellerslie Racecourse - Clevedon / Maraetai / Whitford / Cockle Bay / Farm Cove / Point England / Glendowie / St Heliers. Run time 1½ to 2 hours.
4. Papakura - BP Service Centre, Papakura - SH1 / Clevedon / Whitford / Howick / Pakuranga / Panmure / Pt England / St Heliers. Run time approx 1½ hours.
5. Pukekohe - BP Service Centre, Bombay / Mangatawhiri / Kaiaua / Kawakawa Bay / Clevedon / Whitford / St Heliers.
6. Albany - Mills Lane carpark (near North Harbour Stadium) off Oteha Valley Road - Albany / Coatesville / Riverhead / Taupaki / Massey / Lincoln / Pt Chevalier / Westmere / Grey Lynn / City / Auckland Domain / Remuera / Kohimarama / St Heliers.

There is a Beach Soccer Tournament on the Mission Bay Beach so those on Run 2 (Northcote), which will use Tamaki Drive from the city, need to be aware that there will be a lot of activity in that area and a little patience might be required. The upside though, is that there will be a lot of people around to admire your classic as your cruise by.
Run 6 (Albany) is the new run which will ease the load on Run 2 (Northcote) which was fully subscribed in 2012.
(40 cars per run and places will be allocated on a first-registered with Concours-first-served basis). - Run numbers may change from the past, subject to Concours approval.
Spaces are limited and will be allocated strictly in order of receipt. All entries will close on (TBC) , and you will then be mailed your detailed Information Pack.

ENTRY TO THIS EVENT IS A $5.00 PER CAR DONATION ON THE DAY.
Entries will close on Tuesday 29th January 2013 and you will be e-mailed the web address to print off your own detailed Information Pack the week before the run, which will include the exact meeting directions & run instructions. Entries received by post will have their Information Pack posted earlier.
On the day all runs will start at 10:00am so please be there by 9:30am at the latest to allow for the drivers' briefing, etc. Your $5.00 donation towards the costs of staging this event will be collected on arrival at the start and it would be appreciated if you could bring the correct money in order to minimise the need for issuing change.
On arrival at Vellenoweth Green, each driver will receive a Meguiar's Goodie Bag.
As always, it is recommended that you bring a picnic lunch, but there are shops within comfortable walking distance of Vellenoweth Green if you wish to purchase lunch instead.
Come and join us for a great morning's adventure and an enjoyable drive with old and new friends on one of these six runs. If you enjoyed one of the runs in 2012, how about trying a different one in 2013.[/b]
