A coupla pictures while the cars still clean before the car gets covered in "heartland", still a work in progress but its got a warrant and its not leaking anywhere! And its noisy, spirited and nearly pulls your face off when it stops. Testing tomorrow.

Awesome Andy. A hint before you fit the front guards. Extend the cowl drain pipe so it exits at the bottom. A plastic bend to fit over, and a piece of rubber tube is all ya need. And perhaps some gluey stuff.

The work continues, trying to panel gap glass guards, bonnet and doors is hours of "fun" no wonder I left it till last.
Anyway last night I got bored with the panel work and had a look over the road at this. This is NZ's biggest mobile crane (400 ton) lifting the 78 ton motorway span of the new Dilworth footbridge. This was their second attempt the first night the bridge launched on a lean and the load got too close to the boom so they put it back on the trucks and moved it back to St Marks on ramp. Seeing this arch crawl along the new Newmarket overpass at night lit by mobile lighting sets was just incredible. The crane had 120ton of counter weights delivered by 5 or 6 trucks.
Only seen by the workers and night owls! I think they landed it around 1.30am.

We will be in the Tour too so 4 S30s this year. I was late entering so missed the Classic Car cutoff.
And don't forget our Japanese visitors in the 380Z.

Yes he is but he has downgraded to one of those weird German things (sounds something like "Push") - some people have no taste!
old school BMW??? depends on what you called old school - BMW 2002 - yes, E30 no by that is my opinion as anything after 1980 is not old school in my book.BRONZEE wrote:Spotted another Targa car half an hour ago, old school silver BMW.
