'71. been sitting in a garage in california for 3 decades!
Original paint etc etc. does need cosmetics but is rust free.

That hot Californian sun has killed the paint. Wonder why demister on rear glass goes vertical. Is it aftermarket? Nice car by the way. Quick spray at home to paint less panels and your away laughing. Hope it doesn't come Via the Rena2.
All Nissans are racecars.

its an early 71 - HLS30 29771. at shipping yard waiting for packing.
photos from shipping people - looks better than i first thought.....just so damn original! even original carpet through out - shot but still original. Missing few bits and pieces - horn button etc. needs seat covers (ordered for delivery with the car along with seal kit etc)
Does need a total refurb but i just so pleased to be dealing with no rust! and a straight car.

is automatic but i can imagine thats not a drama to convert? pedals / trans etc.
Has A/C, original paint. needs a good service and some general brakes / tank clean etc but we all do at 40 years old huh!!!!

Being an auto it probably has had an easier life than manual.

If it is sound, just rust proof, polish it, and use it.

If you water blast the origional radiator hoses you can blow the rotting fabric covering off leaving the pattern in the rubber hose. If the hoses are still otherwise sound of course.

yeah not a huge restoration required. Hate body work so mechanical bits should be easy enough.
Agreed! just drive it!!
Having difficulty getting parts of the USA now due to some new import / export laws in effect so getting replacement bits is slow.
