you and me both bro hahahhaha but one day I would like mine running.

will i run into any issues with weight disturbition etc considering the engine is probably about 20kg heavier than a rb and the VH is quite a wide enigne etc.

Heya, we have just in the process of savin a '85 Turbo Z31 2 seater slicky from the crusher, was purchased for the driveline parts but its actually too good to wreck. Our research shows heaps of power available from the original single cam turbo V6, just needs a wee bit of head work, a bigger blower, injectors, better induction, a computer and presto we have a gearbox breaker.

A lot less work than a full swap and the Nissan V6's are great for power output. Clark Proctors Esky runs the single cam V6, it has huge power.

I say stay with the V6 and nothing wrong with the simplicity of the sgle cam motor.

Big Power Vg30's are fairly straight forward to build

Z32 Forged Pistons and Rods are a bolt in swap to get the bottom end under control.

With a High Volume oil Pump from an Auto and A Wingled/Baffled Sump the VG30 will serve you well to about 500hp / 20 to 25 psi

Factory ECU's can be tuned by NZEFI to have USB plug in and basically behave like a LINK ecu.

My Own VG30 Runs Ported heads, Kelford Cams with some Bigger Injectors and on the stock turbo it will do 0-100 in about 5.5 seconds only running 12psi

They can definitly be made to go pretty hard its just that its not an RB so people automatically don't consider it as a worthy option.

Whatever way you go i look forward to the progress.
