If any time wasn't a good time to spend money, now definitely is!
In a long distance relationship with my 260z
Congratulations just get it done before you have more don't want to be like some of us with a 17 year project and now 4 kids
I have been looking at these T3 parts as well, what are the grey spots when getting these certified?old_datto_fan wrote:Quick hint for the Techno Toy rear arms - take a photo of how long the threads are on the outer ends so you can show a Certifier that they are plenty long enough. My Certifier questioned the amount of thread but luckily I had the photos to show him (and still have if you need any).
With all these components on there car would there be any reason to get camber plates as well?

I have found that providing you state the parts are manufactured by a reputable aftermarket supplier in the States that you don't have any issues. The minute you say they are self manufactured they want all sorts of engineers certificates.
If you want camber in the front, you need either the adjustable bottom arms or adjustable top mounts (or maybe both in some cases). In my case, to get the camber adjustment at the top I needed coilovers as otherwise I couldn't get the strut in close enough so I went with KMac adjustable strut tops as I didn't want to modify the strut towers.
The T3 rear arms are great for adjusting camber and caster at the rear and in my case I still have standard rear struts as I don't need the height adjustability at the rear.

That's the reason I went with adjustable arms too. Didn't want to modify towers.
The T3 stuff I like over the ARizona Z Car stuff. Their milled aluminium is cool but just a bit OTT.
I'm going for the resto-mod theme so these few additions will suit perfectly.
The cusco strut braces were so much nicer than the usual round steel bar, cost more but good things do!
Sway bars just continue along a theme.
T3 shipment on its way today! So Christmas in a week or so!!
Probably all a bit much for a pure street car but I like the look.

Cool that's good to know, was a bit hesitant at getting the T3 stuff. I have GC coilovers with Koni adjustable damper shocks and wasn't really wanting to modify my strut towers.
So you guys would highly recommend the rear and front techno toy tuning control arms?

I only have the rears and very happy with them.
My shiney T3 bits have arrived! Well some of them . The rear arms are missing.
They said there were 2 packages sent and 2 arrived but no arms. Weird. They'll sort tomorrow I hope.
Other bonus is that it was a total of $1200usd of stuff but packages just arrived.... No GST, no duty, no grubby little people wanting money!
Hopefully arms turn up no issues!?
Swaybars and other bits on their way now too! It's Christmas in April!

Totally agree.badhabit wrote:T3 guys really good to deal with. Recommend them it anyone.
took a trip out to the workshop saturday to progress on the panels.
Mostly done!
I've also decided i'm taking a sabbatical from work for 3 months from May - August and my good friend (doing all the panels) has said 'Sure no problem!' to me bringing the body out and i'll do all the fitment of panels and mockup of all the running gear.
Couldn't ask for a better place to do it - Hoist / welders / full machine shop & mates to talk crap with!!
Things are happening!!
