Time: Meet at 10.00am
Where: BP Quickstop Silverdale on the motorway (with the Toll payment facility), 6kms north of Oteha Valley Road offramp & 6kms before Silverdale offramp.
What to bring: Full tank of gas, money for lunch, friends/family, beach towel (for anyone wanting to swim), sun tan lotion, camera, money for Toll Road/Tunnel 2 x $2 = $4 (if you haven't paid online), gold coins for our club charity St Johns.

Website: http://www.mangawhai.co.nz/Index2.cfm
Lunch at 12pm: The Smashed Pipi http://smashedpipi.com/menus.php
40 Moir Street, Mangawhai, Northland, ph: (09) 431 4848
Event organiser: Bronzee

We will travel from BP Quickstop Silverdale (on the motorway) up State Highway 1, to the Twin Coast Discovery route up Mangawhai Road, stop at The Smashed Pipi for lunch.

Depending on how we go for time & weather, then if everyone is keen will travel up Cove Road to Waipu Cove & enjoy some great scenery & fabulous roads. Then back along a similar path (or via one of the other roads) or possibly SH1 home, & to avoid the traffic at Wellsford turn into State Highway 16.

We may stop in at a chocolaterie in Mangawhai along the way.

If people from Whangaporoa/Orewa/Warkworth areas or north could please indicate attendance, as we may need to have a meet point north for you.

Come and enjoy some great roads and picturesque scenery.

Smashed Pipi cafe at the village is pretty good, I'll get a report on the pub used to have a nice out door area.

Too hard to change the date on the day, unless we get a cyclone warning or something like that. So the date will stay as is. 8) Don't mention the "R" word.

A friend of mine, Jason, (you've met him before at Brett's Bronzee)might want to come along in his BMW 545i Msport. Is that alright? It'll depend but he's pretty keen for a drive.
