Any one remember to book some sunshine for this?
How fast do ya think a standard 1987 Ford Courior ute with 500000kms on the clock on the standard 2L petrol engine would go? - I'm sure wheelspin is guna be it's biggest issue with the massive 34kws of power it's got
Although there is a fair amount of bog in it in places to wiegh it down for traction.

about the same as my 88 Navara with 300000kms on the clock and standard 2L petrol with a clutch that is about to go.

New body kit on the motorbike will not be complete in time so I will either come down with Ricky, or Dad in his 300zx or bring the old ute.

Cool the battle of the utes
Maybe I will bring the car or the ute or maybe both
will be a surprise for every one - including me at this stage.

Cool I allways new you would not line the yellow whale up by the nimble 4 wheel drive rocket ship.
I would have given you a 3sec start or 8sec in the rain.

Had to pull my entering my 350 out, it's still mechanically impaired unfortunately and probably will be a couple more weeks until it's fixed. Extremely disappointing.

If it's there your on! a three second head start for the ummmmm........ I can't even be bothered calling it a name - it knows it's place in the world

4WD is for tractors and people who like to get dirty.

So do you drive a tractor or do you like to get dirty?

Have run a 15sec qtr in the rain once so I wouldn't get to cocky unless u can do 13s?

Man is guna suck if I'm restrained down to th ute - might do 19s if I'm lucky more like 30s

Lucky for the rest of you the tractor will be left at home, I guarantee it would have the quickest 3 ft time.

What times it all on? Can I bring my 7yo son - hes a zed freak too. I was thinkin of running my stock(ish) 50k Z32TT5 on its federal 255s, but y'all have got me scared! Utes, Tractors, SVX (nice toy, btw), hoosier requests and heretics 850hp turbo! Thats me, shaking in the corner, cradling a mint Z crooning "it'll be alright, baby, no nasty boys are gonna play with you..."!

I'm guna be stupid and call 11.9 sec qtr @ 190kph
Lets see if the old pig can do that - or maybe it's the driver who will be slowing it down.......
as long as I do better than 12.6 @ 170sumdin I will be happy - thats what she ran at Taupo on a track alot of people were calling slippery & it's got another 80kws at the wheels now :D

Just checked the weather forecast via MetVUW (excellent tool on the web from Victoria Uni) and it suggests dry weather for Saturday - excellent. Bring it on.

Imogen - any word on the time to meet at BP Drury?

Cheers
