OK, to spice things up I've renamed the event to the Inaugural Z Club Karting Grand Prix.

I'm trying to arrange prizes (let me know if you can help out with this) and check out what you're racing for, First and second get the small trophies to keep and the large one is for the club and will have the winners engraved on the back.

So come on, come along and race for pride and prizes!

Also, I've updated the first post in this thread with the final details.

We need 2 more drivers minimum, 4 more maximum so be quick!

I backed my zed into the Armco at Pukekohe on Saturday at around 80mph so the car is fixable but my neck and the car seat has taken a heavy beating, It would be suicidal for me to drive a kart on Thursday. I was hoping it would clear by Thursday but it has got worse. I was so looking forward to finally taking part in a Zed Event but it is not to be.

A lesson to any racers to stick with one piece seats and wear a neck brace!

I need also need a 240Z bumper, back left embellishment panel and LH tail light if anyone has one.

Sorry guys have a great night.

Andy

OK, that withdrawal causes a problem.

I checked with Extreme Karts, and we have to have at least 8 to do the thing we're booked for.

So if you're coming and you can find another person, please let me know as we're 1 short as of now.

Thanks.

Excellent nite Luke we all had a blast. Me thinks a small amount of octane booster and a screwdriver may help.

Is that allowed. 8)

A full report will follow - but for now just a quick thanks to Luke for organising this event - next time we will try a different place (closer to home for me so I don't get home after 11pm :))
