Was planning to take my time on the car but with inflation revving away and likely to get worse.... I splurged on the big ticket items before our $ loses even more value shipping costs keep going up too :(

Arrived
- brake hoses
- fluids, diff, trans, brake & clutch
- flares (not sure ill use these)

Coming
- L28 from Auckland (was apparently rebuilt, was swapped out with a L26 from a 260z)
- triple carbs/manifold kit from pro carb Australia
- shocks front/rear
- clutch slave/master
- pads, rotors, rebuilt rear caliper & front caliper rebuild kits
- MSA classic air dam, duck tail & miada skirts
- headlight covers (not sure ill use these)

Thinking list.
- wheels, Pine Engineering in Tasman have some beautiful wheels, Very expensive but very sexy.
quite like these
https://www.pine-engineering.co.nz/prod ... fin-15-set
- stainless exhaust headers/exhaust

I've had some pretty decent practice on the welder and will get to the floor soon...,
Carpets are up and affected area does seem very small.
Need to experiment on how best to remove the gummy stuff on the surrounding area.
And then just jump in and do it.

Will get some photos of the kit once it arrives as i work away at it.

Very good to see its getting some further love.
L28 + triple carb's is a rite of passage with these cars!

I personally don't like the head light covers, as I think the S130Z headlight buckets are very pretty, and the covers hide them.

The wheels you are looking at also look awesome, and 15" is a good size for this car.
I personally prefer the look of 16", There is plenty of room to go wide at the rear, the front is a little more restricted for space.
Just check out a few different tyre brands to make sure there is plenty of choice out their.
For my S130z i went with 18" purely because of tyre selection, and huge brakes :)

The plastic rocker cover on that engine is sort after in North America, sometimes going for silly money.
I have one I paid $20 for from pic-a-part in the good old days. They are from a Skyline...

Not sure about the duckbill its a wee bit big.... but lets see how I feel about it in a few months.
Happy with the air dam though, feel that it improves the face/look of the car.
