350Z Detail, Paint Correction and Ceramic Coating

Post by kirihi » Wed Mar 30, 2022 2:31 pm

Hi all,
Haven't posted for a while, but we've had our (third) Z for ten years now, and it was time for some TLC on the paintwork. Took it to Canterbury Auto Detailing (https://www.canterburyautodetailing.co.nz), and they did a 'Tier 5' detail and paint correction before coating it all with Fireball 'Devil's Blood' ceramic coating.

The photos don't do it justice - the water marks, small scratches and swirls are all gone, and the ceramic coating is fricking amazing! So easy to clean/maintain, and will stay looking like that for years to come.

Next step - the bloody interior door handles! What a terrible design flaw/paint product Nissan used...

Looks fantastic Chris! What was the cost?

I have considered this but would need to get the front bar repainted to remove all the stone chips first.

Just ticked over 100,000 this week!

Thanks Andy. A hefty $1,800 - my wife went halves for my 50th, otherwise I may not have splashed out. Well worth it though. They also removed the (old and now oxidised) protective plastic film off the front, which improved things greatly.

Just over 66,000km for me. Means I've done 60,000km in the ten years I've had it.

Hope all's well with you.
