Clutch pedal slowly got closer to the floor over a couple of weeks until unable to select 1st gear..
Master cylinder full so no fluid leaks..Bled the slave cylinder and was lots of air in there..After bleeding,
clutch was 100% again.Last weekend the same thing happened after about 30mins driving..I did notice the first time
that the master cylinder had a dirty tide mark around the top, along with some gunk in the filter at the bottom of the MC reservoir..
1.If the system is fluid tight, where is the air getting in?
2.What is the fix?
Slave was replaced 4.5yrs/15k K's ago and MC 3yrs/7k K's ago..
Any ideas ?
