also got some counter sunk bolts to hold the aerial delete plate so it looks alot nicer

so i lost motivation for a while, but just recently got back into it i decided to start making an engine wiring loom. I am by no means any good at wiring but would love to build my own loom. here is some of the loom i drew up

also I made a small relay board for coils, injectors, eccs and fuel pump but miss placed the photo so il get another i got some 7 core wire that looks quite good so i ran it from behind the driver seat (were the relay board is) to the switch board i whipped up

Does anyone know if it would be possible to mount bosch coils in the cab and run the leads out to the plugs or would that be to far for that much electricity?

Its just an idea for getting the coils away from all the heat.

I get your wish to keep the coils away from the heat.
But this needs to be balanced against the length of the HT lead.
I prefer to keep the HT lead as short as possible, mount the coils away from the engine to further reduce heat and vibration. I normally mount them on an alloy plate mounted on rubber isolation mounts. Vibration and heat absolutely kills electrical components.
A small tip that you may or may not know. Things like ECUs etc are so easily mounted on a flat alloy plate with velco ! This s... is amazing. No it does not fall off, even in big accidents. Solves the heat / vibration isssue so easily.

been trying to tackle building a wiring loom (i suck at wiring) and while waiting for terminals to turn up, I was looking on z1 and noticed they have solid engine mounts called six shooters for 88 usd plus shipping.
I wanted a set but couldnt justify 130ish dollars so 25 nzd later.

im definitely no machinist and don"t have access to a lathe but a we cut the stock to length with a band saw, drilled the center with a drill press and grinded it as square as possible with a grinder.

turned out ok i recon

we did swap the bolts out for the right length with washers and I was able to get the bolts in from the top so if a nut comes loose while racing I don't run over my own engine
