Datsun 280ZX IMSA GTU race car build...
Nope. Its getting finished.
Body nearly cleaned up, will need to go see some more love once its on its feet to fix things there were not done correctly prior to it sitting idle for 6 years.
I'm looking forward to it actually, its taken this long to get my mojo back.
Just remembering what's what and where things are at is a mission...

A small update.
Got a bunch of new bolts from steelmasters as my bolt assortment always seems to be one short...
Done a little shopping at Z Car Depot in the US, to get some ARP flywheel bolts, rear light rubbers, some seals, and a bunch of small odss and sods...

Got some new Timkin front wheel bearings from SKF in East Tamaki, and special ordered the inner grease seals. I have a good set of Japanese stuff in my pile of stuff for the rear.
I also dropped 19 small parts at the powder coaters to blast and paint... save me some hassle, and a nice hard finish.
Got the front cross member in and the two front tension rod mounts.
Had the lower arm rod end spacers machined from SS, and started to assembly the right side, left side to follow.
Diff got a work over by DiffSpecs in Drury. Clean, check, adjust, new bearings & seals... and ready to go in nearly.

I checked its a 1.5x ratio box.
Got the RH strut nearly in, and started cleaning up other bits and pieces, just to try and find everything...
Some bits will need to come out again as I progress but thought to put it in as I find it to get it off the shelf.

Also had a gasket made for my dry break valve, so can fit that now...
