Screws, facia clips, bolts - suppliers?

Post by Skiwi » Sat May 20, 2017 10:47 am

Any recommendations for good suppliers ?

I'd like to know where I can place an order before I start tearing down the interior of my car as its a given I'm going to snap the one tiny piece of plastic that sits in plain view or strip a bold/screw, or drop a retaining clip down into the 6th dimension that exists in the the crevasses of all vehicles.

AND is there a free online parts catalogue or app anywhere? (id like to look at a schematic and get the right part number for pieces I need)
When you drive a "Z" the destination is moot

Probably the nearest you will find, that I can think of off hand is Courtesy Nissan in the US. Quite useful. Putting in your VIN may not work, given we're over here, but putting in the model, or nearest does.

And if you flick "Zilver" a PM, he does group buys from the US, which works out quite well.

depends how many you want, if only a few you might as well pay nissan NZ's silly prices. talk to your local dealer and they'll be able to send you pics

There are quite a few different styles of clips, so if you buy from your local dealer here, best to take one of what you want along with you.

There are a few guys specialising in aftermarket clips. I think The Clip man is one ask your local panelbeaters. You can even try Aliexpress they sell mixed bags of clips and very cheap with freight included.

The slightly stubbier clips, OEM ones (still got the packet here) are part number: 01553-09321 with 10 in the packet. (If the part number hasn't changed)
