New member, that old I used to work on 240Z's when new!

We have a 1971 240Z thats been in our shed for way too long, wife says is time to restore 'her' car.

Major project, mainly body, as usual.

In due course we will be chasing bits and pieces of interior and exterior trim and rubbers, seat reupholsering etc.

Will know once down to bare shell what is required, in around 4 months.

Mechanically its good, will overhaul engine (L28)

Body will be restored by coachbuilder.

Doing the mechanical work is a breeze for an old school mechanic, locating the new and s/h body / interior bits we will require will be more of a mission, and will no doubt call on your experiences.

We have owned many interesting Datsuns, several from new.

Thanks, Lindsay

Sounds great - would love to see pictures of the 240 as she rests in one piece!

Sounds cool - I remember the 240Z well. Great looking car in its day and it still is.
