Auckland Z Xmas - gathering/hardpark

Post by Z Club » Tue Aug 30, 2016 3:02 pm

When: Saturday 10th December 2016
Time: from 10am to find good space in the carpark
What: Auckland Z Xmas - meet/hardpark
Where; Ngapara Street, Red Beach, Whangaparaoa (Link below to make it easy).
https://www.google.co.nz/maps/place/Nga ... 74.7082288
What to bring: Food & refreshments for yourself/group/family, gold coin donation for our club charity - St John
Organiser: Bronzee

Hope you can join us for a pre-xmas meet/hardpark. Bring along friends, family, other Zedders, swimming gear and food and refreshments. (Not sure if there is a bbq area here - maybe a local can give us the heads up).

We'll try and arrive early so we can park in a long line to make for good photos.

It goes without saying anyone behaving in an unsuitable manner or doing donuts, or squealing tyres that will attract unwanted attention to our group (especially as lot of us have club stickers in our windows), will be asked to leave.

If your Zed is off the road, or a project car, we hope you join us in your other car/bike etc.

Look forward to catching up with everyone.
(We could possibly go for a drive afterwards, depending on who's keen)

Not sure of one in Red Beach, bound to be one around. But there is a nice cafe, which is pretty chilled cafe at the Estuary Arts Cafe, by the wharf at the southern end of Orewa. There's also Walnut Cottage at the Northern end of Orewa, which is supposed to be good.

Sounds good. Maybe we should meet up at original spot, and decide from there. I was going to pick up something to eat on the way, but maybe leave it till late than earlier. The weather is supposed to be crap tomorrow, but they got it wrong today so we will have to see.

Didn't they just. What time you aiming to be there?

And others, if you can let us know, then we can head off round the corner if the weather is rubbish.

A cool and select few, including one that turned up in his Bimmer, not looking at anyone in particular....... Lol!

Great to see those that came along, it actually didn't rain and the moody skies made for nice Zed back drop. Cheated and posting pics on the club Facebook page.

Did anyone else stop by yesterday? We left as it was getting really windy and headed to a cafe. One of my friends dropped by a bit late and said there was blue 350 there. Also spotted a silver 300 at the junction of Whangaparaoa & top of the Silverdale hill, any of ours?
