VERY IMPORTANT!

For those intending to track your car, PLEASE ENSURE YOU HAVE READ SCHEDULE A of the Motorsport NZ manual, with regards to Helmets!

Otherwise you may find yourself with a helmet that is out of date and having to borrow a complying helmet to compete.

Full details & link in the first post.

Yes well at the moment everyones car is faster than mine, having a go at getting it running for Christmas at the Downs, don't like my chances, but finally sitting in its new spot in my tiny garage, and I'm digging deep into the engine bay in the hope I can get it running for a skid/blow out before Christmas.

So the helmet thing. How old is too old.

Is made Sept 2009 too old for a club track day using an uncaged road car?

More than likely ok, as there is more than just date involved check here--->

http://www.motorsport.org.nz/sites/defa ... %20A_0.pdf

There are no special helmet requirements for uncaged cars

Just a comment to make entry easier - can someone make the link to the entry form bigger please as it is hard to spot - 4.2 in the regs.

And no rude comments about age will be accepted.
