New member- 240z in Central Otago

Post by otagoz » Tue Jun 28, 2016 2:43 pm

Hi there

Got hold of a 240z last year, and have been working on it on and off... finding all those little bits and peices that need adding - correct wiperblades, maplight, etc etc.... and replacing some broken interior trim parts

current project is trying to fit new seat covers....

anyone got any tips on removing old trim clips?- don't really want to break them all getting then out, though have a new set to hand...

keen to meet up with any other Z owners in Central - think there is an orange one in Wanaka???

Cheers

Chris

Welcome to the forum. Your 240 looks fantastic. Who was her keeper before you? Most of the cars have had club history.

Very nice looking 240. Looks neat, tidy and in original condition which is refreshing to see.

Do I spy a left hook?

Hi - yes, L hook - ex Arizona car - matching numbers.. will be keeping it original as poss except poss a few reversible mods like rota style wheels, and poss headlight covers.. just love the lines - what a beautiful design.... don't think it had any z club history- came from an American car stable...

It couldn't possibly of course but it looks exactly like the one I owned in the 70's. Same colour, same wheels. Nice.
