Targa Rotorua 2016

Its all go for another Targa Rotorua this time based only in Rotorua and missing out the Coromandel.

Saturday ventures into the Waikato, we fancy our chances again, just gotta keep the foot down for two full days not just one.

3. THE EVENT
Targa Rotorua is a two (2) day Tarmac Rally event, and is Round Two of the
2016 Targa NZ Seria Campione consisting of 2 Legs.

3.1 Venue: Targa Rotorua 2016 starts in Rotorua and travels through the
Waipa, Matamata/Piako, South Waikato, Taupo and Rotorua districts.
There are 13 stages in total, 7 on Leg One, and 6 on Leg 2.
Service stops are as follows:
Leg 1 - Putaruru, Cambridge, Rotorua
Leg 2 - Ngakuru, Rotorua

3.2 Length: Comprises of approx. 319km of special stages and approx. 477km
of touring.

3.3 Leg One – Saturday 14th May: First Car Starts from Rotorua at 8:00am and
finishes at 4:50pm at Rotorua.

3.4 Leg Two - Sunday 15th May: First Car Starts from Rotorua at 8:15am, and
finishes at 3:45pm at the final control situated at Rydges Hotel, Rotorua.

Congratulations Andy on getting another photo in NZ Classic Car magazine - they certainly love showing pictures of your car! I take it the white smoke was because of some demon late braking!

Not so much late braking but it was an early stage and its more than likely a late night was more the problem. Thanks for the congrats, phone and email have been busy, Z people are happy.
