Hi from Raumati South

Hi All,
Dave from Raumati South here. For those of you who don't know, 40kms north of Wellington, 5 km south of Paraparaumu.
I've just purchased a 1981 2litre Fairlady and will be the first to admit I know absolutely nothing about the model although I remember them when they first appeared.
I was fortunate enough to be put onto the car by a chap I know.
One NZ owner and 57000kms.
The drawback is its been parked up for 17yrs with what appears to be a fuel and perhaps electrical fault/s.
Fortunately the reg is on hold.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to the challenge and hope to get it back on the road sooner rather than later.

I'm in Paraparaumu and would love to have a look at your car sometime. We have a few other 280ZX shape cars around the Wellington area and it is great to have another one in the area.

Welcome to the forum. Head along to a meet and introduce yourself. Always good to get first hand advice from those that have been Zedding for a while, or those like the Kapiti Kollector, who's probably got every part known to old school Zeds.

Dave, by Kapiti Kollector Bronzee means me so we've already had the catch up. My need to stop using that nickname, the collection is slowly being reduced in size!
