Hey guys, I'm Trent
live in Hamilton, and am hopefully buying a 1983 fairlady 300zx this week
its a auto v6 turbo model so im guessing vg20et? dont know alot about them but am willing to learn from you guys

Hey Trent there were 5 engines in the Z31, three of them turbo'd, so will be interested to see if you have a single cam V6 3.0, a single v6 2.0, or a straight 6 twin cam 2.0.

I am a closet Z31 fan but favour the look of the two seater and would go for the sgle cam 3.0 V6 turbo any day, very high output available and a lovely sound and simple to fix.

Serious rust issues look for bottom of screen, inside front guards, around tail lights, chassis rails.

Hi there Trent. Welcome to the Z Club. Owned a '86 Z31 in the late 90's. Auto, single Turbo V6 3.0. The second of 4 Z's I have owned over the last 20 years.

Thanks for the welcome guys, Hopefully pick it up tomorrow night.
The guy is keen on swaps for my 84' Corolla FX-GT.

I know its a v6 turbo just not sure if its 3.0 or 2.0
