Sure does. Also mentions her name for her Z. This Zed has a lot of history with the club with the owner that did all the major refurbishment work on the car in the past.Greensheep wrote:Looks very much like Azukii rains car

Probably haven't seen it before because, if you're anything like me, you search for 260z, not 260 z with the space. I'm no used car sales person, but if you want maximum exposure for such listings, you should be littering it with words like 260z, 240z, fairlady, s30, classic, oldskool (or whatever the kids say), drift, skyline, rb26, rx3, mgb (cough, cough), chic magnet etc! And then get realistic on the price lol!Pest wrote:An ex. Z Club 260 in the Waitakare's:

New R200 LSD internals.
I don't really know enough to know if it suits my application, but as far as I know, that's not too expensive for these.

I've just listed the brakes and suspension out of SAMURI on TradeMe - fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to upgrade their 240Z/260Z. There is no way you could build this for the money I am asking.

Bargain, I stopped counting when my engine went past $15,000 (without fuel system), that engine is understressed and would squeeze out more with a cam, and rev better with the twin plate clutch offered, tempted as a spare!

Thanks Andy, I think you should buy it as a spare! I wish my bills had only got to your $15,000 before you stopped counting. My bills ran to over $20,000 and that excluded lots of little things like oil pump, water pump, hoses, new timing chain cover, new timing gear etc. You would need to have your own engine recon shop to do it any cheaper.
And I'd be happy to do a better price on the engine or any of the other bits I have listed on TradeMe to a paid up Z Club member. More bits to come as I slowly work through Aladdin's cave. And sorry but they are being listed on TradeMe rather than on here as there is a bigger audience and easier to load photos etc.
PM me if anyone wants to discuss any of the bits away from TradeMe.
And a previous owner spent over $20K on the engine before I got it - that was back in the late 80s (I think) and somewhere I have the invoices to show it.

$20k

"It has been full sandblasted, body work done and painted in it's original yellow colour.
Basically all the work is done and all you have to do is put everything back in the car."
Looks like the bulk of the hard work done here, might be of interest to someone
