New 280zx owner from South Africa

Hi guys,

New z owner here from SA. This is my baby the day I brought her home. Owned her for about 3 weeks now. Also had 2 350z's before this and about 10 other Nissans prior to that.

Hope to meet and share with fellow s130 owners here...

Welcome to the forum. So was yours SA new, or did it come from another country?

Definitely SA new. Have the original owners manual documenting the sale to a local Dr in '81. Incl. it's service records with local Datsun dealerships back in the day. Previous owner did some restorations of his own here and there.

I doubt there were any imported s130s in SA? They were available through dealers. There a handful of 2 seaters too. Usually brought here through dealers by nissan big shots for themselves and then filter down into the general public over the years.

We got no s30's though.
