Coolant for 350Z
Need some help defining coolant types, whats the difference between type A and B? Also what is the preferred coolant for a Z?
Type A is Glycol based it raises the boiling point and lowers the freezing point also.
Type B doesn't and only acts as a rust inhibitor.
What color coolant do you have in there now? Should be Green or Blue. (Type A)
Never mix green with red or orange as it'll froff and cause issues. May not be suitable for Aluminium components either.
Green & Blue can mix fine. Blue I believe is a pre-diluted mixture, where as green is ordinarily dilute with 50/50 ratio of demineralized or distilled water
I used Prestone long life green
