Note- not organising an event. just putting the info out there atm.
On the recent Z club trip a couple of us were talking about Ruapuna Race Track.
Cost is $200 for the day. 1/2 price if a member of Canterbury Car Club $120 per year.
Tuesdays and Fridays. 10am - 4pm Ring before hand to make sure track is open.
(Have been told by unverified source that Motorbikes sometimes use it in the arvo. unsure on this atm.)will update when verified.
Turning up as an individual is all that is needed if you have the gear and money. As an event i am unsure but will find out.
Safety.
Car needs Bolted in Fire Extinguisher.
Sounds like only need a WoF. no roll cage etc. Again need to confirm this but 99% sure this is correct.
Personal safety requires Helmet, full length Overalls (cotton ones are fine...)
A neck brace of some sort is recommended but not required.
