That's usually because people have no idea how much they're worth. So many people assume they must be 30k+ still.HHardworkin' wrote:Jap import 04 enthusiast. Depreciation is your friend, in time they'll be relatively cheap also.HHardworkin' wrote:Yea. Maybe thats a 370z can only dream of owning one of those or the latest skyline.
Welcome, When I first looked at 350's for my second car I was about 18/19 and the cheapest manual on Trademe at the time was approx. 25 grand, I think looking back that was for an 02/03 base model with 90K on the clock. These days you can get the odd one for around $10-15k
Now I've just turned 23 and I got my car this time last year for $25k

Only problem with the very cheap 350's is they often have a few issues that need sorting. But you get what you pay for and if you have the time, energy, money and know how it's not an issue. Depending on what the issue is, some are quite expensive to fix.

Bronzee's right (as usual), you do get what you pay for. Two years a ago I paid a lot of money for my HR with 6,750km on the clock (before the prices dropped significantly), but it's been worth every cent. 370Zs are already falling into the same price bracket that I was in but, with the small mods done on mine, it's got as much power as a 370 and (in my opinion) looks as good as a 370 anyway.
Enjoy your beast and be proud that you've earned it!
