Oil change for L24

Hi guys I just picked up my car from Wellington yesterday and drove her up to Hamilton. It went like a dream! Didn't miss a beat. I want to change the oil and oil filter now but am unsure on what brand and what grade. Can anyone give me some advice?

We run a Nissan filter, I think its the correct one for an L28. Oil, Brad Penn SAE50 if you're engines a goody, alot of race people run it. If engine is well used or on its last legs any good mineral oil. Your engine builders recommendation is the best to follow.

Just the mineral oil can be purchased at Repco or SuperCheap, not sure who does Brad Penn in your area, I get it from Greenlane Speedshop in AK and any Nissan dealer for the filter, buy only good quality in both items, some filters will fail early and actually let big stuff through, also some after market filters do not have enough surface area and will reduce oil flow.
